HELLO ME AGAIN LOL

WELL WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IS MORE SITES ESP IN THE US OF CASES YOU CAN KEEP YOUR E CIG ALL TOGETHER WITH BATTERY CHARGED AND EVERYTHING JUST GRAB IT OUT AND SMOKE INSTEAD OF ASSEMBLING IT ALL THE TIME. NOW I HAVE SEEN SOME ONE PERSON ON EBAY THAT SELLS THE METAL CASE VERY PRETTY BUY IT NOW $12 THREE WEEKS AGO THE SAME SELLER HAD IT BUY IT NOW $10 PLUS $4.90 SHPPING PRETTY HIGH BUT THATS THE ONLY PLACE ON EBAY I SEEN A COUPLE OF SITES THAT HAD THEM AND MOST WERE OUT OT STOCK. I  HAVE SEEN THE BLACK VELVET BAG BUT I WOULD WANT SOMETHING A LITTLE MORE PROTECTIVE. I KNOW MYSELF IF THESE WERE READILY AVAILABLE I WOULD BUY AND I WOULD BET A LOT OF OTHERS WOULD TOO. SO IF THEIR IS SITES THAT SELLS THEM FAIR REASONABLE AND HAVE THEM IN STOCK. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY INFO. THANKS AND HAVE A GREAT DAY

YOU REALLY HAVE TO LOOK AT EACH SITE TO SEE IF THEY ARE IN STOCK.. AND YOU HAVE TO GET THE RITE SIZE FOR WHAT YOU HAVE.. THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT SIZES.

I would like to see what's going on with e-cigs politically in the U.S. It's tough to keep up.  Huh?

Hi, all. I'm new to this forum, new to forums in general and especially new to e-cigs. I ordered a couple disposables to try but have not received them yet so while I cannot post on my e-cig experiences until early next week I'll still post a little about What I Would Like To See in a forum.

If e-cigs are a great substitute for tobacco smoking by being much better for your lungs and are likable to former/existing tobacco smokers then I would like the word to spread much faster. After much internet research I learned that this is not a new thing as they have been available for at least two years and yet I cannot find any in my hometown and have never heard of them before two days ago. The two local tobacco shop owners in my town that I spoke to have never heard of them nor have any of my smoking friends. The information on the internet is difficult to locate, scattered and filled with website sellers who no longer carry any products but apparently leave their websites up without deleting them or posting a statement about their lack of product.

After two very long and frustrating days of determined research and searching the internet picking up small bits of information here and there I have decided on a few things that I would have liked to have seen much sooner in my searching. It would have been so easy to just logon to a forum and see these topics pinned at the top in a section right under the forum board rules, etiquette, news, etc. I apologize for the long list and I hope it helps the person that posted this question/topic.

All that said, Here is What I Would Like To See on a Forum:

1.)  List of Common Abbreviations
such as bat, batt, atty, vape, etc. and what they mean.

2.)  List of Definition of Parts
simply stating what an individual part is and what it does with a picture.

3.)  List of individual parts necessary to TRY an e-cig and to get started with e-cigs

4.)  List of Common or Popular types available
such as model numbers and names.

5.)  List of Known Models with Interchangeable Parts
such as batteries, atomizers, cartridges and chargers that can be used with several models so folks won't be afraid to invest their money in getting started only to find out a supplier is out of something or goes out of business and they don't know where to get a replacement part.

6.)  List of References with Links for Beginners
such as wikipedia, youtube and google video sites, review sites and other websites that explain things a bit and posts pictures or videos.

7.)  A Post with some type of Interactive Calendar
where I can click a date and post the name of a physical store or website where I made a purchase and received my order successfully. (This is not a Review of individual sites or products - only a means of identifying current sellers.) Then another user can click on the same date (or any other date) and see what information is available and current as of that date.

8.)  A Way to make Forums More Prominent in Google and Other Search Engines
There's a lot of good information to be read in forums but if it takes two days of searching everything imaginable to realize there are forums then it's just not that helpful to someone new. This may be as easy as having a few members entering the exact forum name in the search engine and hitting the search button daily or it may be more complicated. I don't know. I simply feel it would be helpful to come across the forums early on in a newcomer's search.

Again I apologize for such a long post being my first post and I thank Jane for sending me a link to this forum. Have a Great Day All!

I very seldom post anything here but I check it out nearly everyday just to keep up with the new posts. I just wanted to ask KellyK............what are you apoligising for? Everything you said is right on and you need commended, there is nothing to apoligise for. If everything you said was in place when I started vaping I would have literally saved 100's of $'s. I'm sure you will love vaping once you get started. No more wheezing at night while trying to sleep. No more coughing in the morning trying to get that 1st cigarette down. After coughing and wheezing for over 40 years it becomes normal and we think nothing of it but when it's suddenly gone.........you will be amazed KellyK. Anyway I hope everything you said comes to happen and I'm sure it will because it makes so much sense. I hope the best for you.

Thanks, coffeeandcigs, for your kind words. I appreciate them. I especially appreciate you telling me about the not coughing and wheezing anymore. So much to look forward to!  Smiley

I agree it would save a lot on the initial start up costs. I think though by having all the information together in one place to read and come back and refer to would be really helpful. I can just see folks giving up out of frustration and not being able to find the information they need. I can also see many folks delaying and even deciding not to buy a starter kit due to the cost. Even an economy line unit just to sample the idea will likely run $40.00 give or take when you add in the shipping charges depending on where you order from.

$40.00 is the cost of a carton of off brand cigarettes some places. If you have the money no problem. I know a lot of folks that have their monthly cigarette money budgeted out at the beginning on the month and they would definitely hesitate about buying something they are not sure of because if they ordered a bad unit or even just didn't like it they know that they would be stranded with no cigarettes or nicotine for an entire week and it would be devastating.

Not many folks on here last night or today. I'm hoping the weekend will be busier. I'm trying to learn as much as I can. Thanks again for the reply. Have a good afternoon.
