while impatiently waiting for my prodigy I decided I wanted a taste of what 5v would be like.

I used to have an automatic 901 passthrough and I always thought it was kind of wimpy. I ended up giving it to a friend before I got a multimeter so I never actually tested the output voltage.

I currently have a 510 passthrough with an inline battery and that only puts out 4.11v because it is actually running off the battery, not the USB port.The connection to the USB port just charges the battery simultaneously while it is being used.

So I decided I needed a passthrough that was a direct connection to the USB with nothing but a switch between the USB and atomizer. I had a USB charger for a RN4081 laying around and I never use it since I prefer to use the wall charger. this is the usb charger looked like...

Nice job.. That works great..  I got my protigy and your going to love it.. Works great.. Monster.. Hit and cloud..  So i tryed 2 3.7 volt batts and BAM..  Just got to watch the hot atomizer.. Let it cool now and then..   I use janes abandon mint in it.. Really good... brings out the flavor  big time...  Well have fun.. H3VAPOR

The 4081 charger has the right connection to accept a 901 atomizer so this was a pretty easy task. just strip out the insides of the charger and add a push button. I drilled out where the LED light was to make the hole big enough for a mini button I had laying around. It was a tight fit being so close to where the wire enters the case but it was able to work.

I made this quick video showing what a vapor monster it is. The throat hit and even chest hit is amazing off this little bad boy. It only makes me want thr prodigy more.
