Hi everyone, I'm Allie and I'm smokin' in central Virginia

I gave up the analogs 1 Apr 09, and don't miss them one bit! I've been smoking for over 30 years and was up to 3 packs/day

I tried my first "flavor" today... vanilla I know it's boring, but I wanted to try something subtle first and I like it so I've ordered abandon mint and we'll go from there.

e-smokin' for my life!

Hello everyone, I think its time for me to introduce myself, my name is Kris and I live in the northwoods of Wisconsin.  Its a little small town named Townsend.  I've been trying to smoke only e-cigs, but I need new cartridges for my E9M from e-cigs.com, I'm trying to save to buy the Chrome Crusader from Jane and some e- juice.  Hopefully soon.

Nice to meet everyone.

Hi ya'all, I'm Steve in Nebraska and a little over 1/2 century old. The main reason I can't stop smoking is because I don't want to stop. I enjoy it. I've been e-ciging now for almost a month and down to 2-4 real cig daily from 2 packs daily. Honestly I was about to give up e-cigs until I came upon this site. These things just take a little patience and know-how and all the know-how I've got I have gotten right here. I thank everyone here for that too. The one and only things that bothers me about e-cigs is the dreaded FDA. They could care less about our health like they say but, they do care about our $'s and they will soon be wanting what they think is their fair share. There is power in numbers so lets all tell our smoking friends about e-cigs and lets all stick together. Thanks for being here for me.

Nice to meet everyone.

My husband and I are from Colorado.  We kind of do the forum together.  Its probably me posting if there is a smiley or something dumb like that.

We are pretty new to the vaping thing also.  We are the ones asking all of the beginner questions.

I really appreciate the help.  I want to be able to quit smoking and I find this a way to do it.  For the first time in 35 years I think it is possible.

I'm with you blossom, I don't remember a day in my life "smoke free". I was smoking 3 packs/day until 1 Apr 09. I'm loving this e-cigarette. I'm sleeping (cough free) for the first time in years!! No more wheezing, hacking up a lung first thing in the morning, and my house smells better   Grin

hi I'm from Oklahoma (CT Yankee till my 20's).  I am late 50's ex-chain smoker.  Been vaping for a few months and still have a few cigs.  Hubby smokes and plans to go cold turkey.  I told him NO WAY.  I read some side effects of nicotine withdrawl like high BP, blood vessel constriction, etc.  and since he's older than me, that's just too scary.  I keep buying juices to try and learning all I can so I can help him quit also.

I got the link here from Jane's Kick Juice webpage.  Looks like a nice friendly forum  Grin

hi I've tried the marlboro, 555, Ry4, cola, hilton, a few others.  I really like the ones that aren't too sickly sweet.  I don't think my husband has a problem with the flavors that he's tried, but rather he's just not ready.  And he watches all the tinkering to get e-cigs to work, refill, etc and I know he'd lose patience lol.  I plan to do it all for him when he gets ready.

Hi all, been lurking for sometime, signed up last week and have decided this looks like a very friendly place.  I live in the dead center of North Dakota, I manage a liquor store.  Not quite half a century old, got a couple years to go LOL.  Had a love affair for 35yrs with full flavor Old Golds 1-3 packs a day depending on whatever.  I completely ended my affair on 5-12-09.  I started seeing DSE901 in April and before I knew it Mr Old Gold was gone!  If Mr 901 hadn't run out of juice I would have dropped MR OG immediately.  A couple of great venders jumped up to help Mr 901 out and its been him ever since!  Mr Old Gold was very powerful, I wanted no one but him, Dse 901 is very friendly, he shares me with Mr. Yeti, no problem.  I drive a 1993 Jeep, a 1957 Panhead (HD) and a horse.  Share my home with a siamese(sp) cat, a MinPin, a blue heeler and a red doberman.  As you can see, I can be rather long winded in a friendly environment! LOL  all my best, dawnlori

I'm in Vermont and got my 1st e-cig 3 months ago today (that was also the last day I smoked an analog Smiley ) I've gotten my best friend & her husband, my sister and her husband and my neighbor hooked up with e-cigs. All of them have totally given up smoking since starting on the e-cig. I began with a DSE 901 that I got on eBay from the U.K. I've since purchased a oye 510, which I really like.

Hiya, I'm Mark and I just started with the e-smokes in Wisconsin.  I finally got my first two real e-smokes in the mail today. I ordered some cheap ones on amazon and had a backup ordered that came before the others got here. I didnt like that one so much... It was one of those Health E-cigarettes. So as soon as I tried it I was looking for something that would do the job. I came here and read almost all the posts. I liked the reviews on the Chrome Crusader and the 510. I immediately jumped online and grabbed a set of both.  Man am I glad I did. Both came super quick. Ordered on friday, got here today. Im just glad I can now stop all the tar and other crap that I have been inhaling all these years. Well, see ya guys around the forum.

Hi all, I am Jim, long time smoker(50 years next year) and am getting tired of all the restrictions on smoking(new word Analog smokes) one question, what is the USB pass through I keep seeing reference to? I smoke about 1/2 to 1 pack a day, but used to smoke 2 packs a day easy before. New to all this, but willing to learn the "NEW" ropes.
