It's just a pen style.  I've had several pen styles and they were my main model for 2 years.  Honestly, I wish the sellers would list the model numbers on all of them - it would make things so much easier.  I'm done with them now because I'm totally sold on cartomizers.  The flavor and consistency is so much better for me.  I had some issues a while back with not being able to taste the flavor of my main e-liquid.  I think I just became kind of immune to the same flavor and couldn't taste it anymore, or flavors that were similar.  I changed to grape for a while and also tried the 510.  I got my "taster" back again and realized that flavors came through better for me using the 510.  

Then I tried cartomizers (KR808D, I believe).  The first ones I tried were really good, but they started tasting a bit "funky" after the 4th refill.  Then I found some 510 cartomizers.  Those rocked for me and I refilled them so many times that I stopped counting.  Jane's Ultimo passthrough made the 510 cartomizer experience so much better, because I do most of my vaping with a passthrough.  The Ultimo passthrough will work with the 510 cartomizers and it is so well made.

I'm currently comparing the  "Cool Cartomizers" with the 510 cartomizers.
