My boyfriend and I both e-smoke and we LOVE it. The fact that the f-ing FDA wants to get their greedy little hands on the situation pisses me off to no end.
Here is a thought.... I remember seeing a blip on a news story about Obama being and on again, off again smoker.....
Surely he would see the value in such a revolutionary device. Especially since he has a family that would hate to see him die a slow painful death from lung cancer! I know that's why I quit regular cigarettes!
Why would they want us to go back to the old way when this will keep us healthy and happy?Huh?
Oh, yeah, because it takes money out of so many a$$hole's pockets!!! Angry
Like another poster said, petitions go in the circular file. There has to be something we can do. They are seizing shipments, plotting take downs, we need to be up in arms and ready for a battle.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I will not give up my basic right to choose a healthier alternative without a fight!

YOU ARE SO RIGHT I JUST RECIEVED MY E CIGERETTES TODAY AND THEN I FIND OUT THAT FDA IS BANNING THEM YOU KNOW OF COURSE FDA IS ASSOCIATED WITH PHILLIP MORRIS. THEY RAISE THE COST OF CIGERETTES TO NO END WHICH BY THE WAY ONE PACK IS 80%  TAX. THEY BAN THE CIGERETTES IN PUBLIC THEY KNOW THAT SMOKING IS BAD BUT THEY WILL NEVER TAKE IF OFF THE MARKET CAUSE IT IS TAXES TAXES TAXES. THEN THEY TRY THIS HAPPY HORSE SHIT.  WE ARE SLOWLY LOSING OUR CONSTITUTAL RIGHTS. FREEDON OF SPEECH, RIGHT TO ASSEMBLE PEACEFULLY, BEING REGARED OURSELVES AS TERROSIST. HOW DOES THE FDA HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS ANYWAY, ARE THEIR NOT NICOTINE PATCHES, NICOTINE GUM AND INHALERS. WHATS UP? WHATS NEXT

It is like you said. Tax's.. They have tax's on those products.. And the tobacco companys are loosing lots of money.. then they go to non smoking congress members and give them lots of money to stop the e cigs..  But there are lots of them that are useing them.. So time will tell..  Just make sure you do your part and let them know how you think.. We are the ones that put them there.. If they want to loose votes thats up to them..  And they will..  The FDA is being sued for stopping shipments.. Its going to be a long battle.. So stock up..
And the biggest thing everyboby can do is call them   PERSONAL VAPORIZERS   You see all the sites changing to that..

I realize I could be easily smited for this... But please know all safety precautions would be made 110% I believe nicotine could be easily extracted from tobacco plants and, or, a naturally sold tobacco such as American Spirit. My biggest concern after SAFETY would be how to measure the amount of nicotine.

Really all this Government stuff is making me very mad! Yes, I want them to run testing and let me know how I could be harming myself. But for Gosh sakes, I feel, with a personal vaporizer I can be much safer and have a better chance at reducing my intake of harmful substances.

Many years ago I was a severe drug addict. I'm lucky to be alive... My point is I was able to leave that stuff behind me, but still, I'm haunted by darn cigarettes! Something struck me a counselor said (on one of my tours of rehab) she said it's more likely that we'd die of smoking than the drugs we were doing. She said that that's what the statistics say. It was very hard for me to believe at the time especially considerings the state I was in.

Well, sorry for rambling, but I'm not happy with the government. It shows they are not looking out for us!!! For gosh sakes, what one government politician said, struck a cord with me.He said, he gets more information off a box of cereal than a pac of smokes, and it still that way. Yes, I'll be writing and calling whom ever I can in the government and tell them my story. I'll tell them how i could get off the heavy illegal drugs and haven't gone back. But what the heck, can't get off this shiz they condone, except, and allow us to die using. I was so happy finding out about the personal vaporizers a week or two ago. Now I own one and have more coming in the mail. They work for me.

So yeah, I will figure out how to make the juice myself if I half to. I don't care if I have to sneak around like a meth cook. They (The Government) aren't doing anything worth a hoot to help me or you out of this, "death sentence they allow to be sold at every corner...."

WoW, sorry guys, guess its been building for a wile.

Thanks for listing and if anyone has some websites of "Government Officials" I can call and give them an earful I'd love it!!! I think It would be worthy of its own category. Then maybe we could post threads in regards to best agencies and officials to call.

I'm done Thanks!

ROXINAL,
I understand how you feel! I just closed my business selling e-cigs and e-liquid, etc a couple weeks ago. The FDA was kind enough to grab 250 Bottles of my e-liquid shipment, hold it for a month with no word exept we are investigating, and then finally refuse entry to the USA because of "Misbranding" - because of the bottles statement, form and/or contents! <-See Law section thread for full details on this!
I have dealt with this a lot, and the bottom line, (Even though I feel exactly like you do!), is that the Electronic Cigarette uses a Battery, atomizer and cartridge. The battery heats up the atomizer, which then turns the Nicotine solution into a Vapor which is inhaled into the lungs...So for all extensive purposes, yes, unfortunately, it IS a Medical device which delivers Nicotine into the human lungs to prevent drug withdrawls, Nicotine that is. The more I read this on FDA's site, the more I realized it is a Big task to say it is anything but that! Hate it, but if you set aside emotion about these devices, you can see that that is exactly what they are!

HELLO
I DO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR SAYING ABOUT THE FDA IM GUESSING THEY DONT KNOW JUST HOW MUCH NICOTINE YOUR GETING INTO YOUR BODY/LUNGS. AS THE INHALER, PATCH, GUM ARE SET AMOUNTS OF NICOTINE, BUT WHAT I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IS THE REGULAR CIGARETTES THEY HAVE OVER 4000 CARCIOGENS (SPELT WRONG SORRY) AND TAR AND THE SECOND HAND SMOKE. BUT FDA DOES NOT STOP THEM IT IS REGULATED BY THE ATF IM GUESSING. DONT REALLY KNOW BUT THEY SURE ARE NOT STOPPING THE PRODUCTIONS OF ANALOG CIGARETTES AND I KNOW IT IS BECAUSE EACH STATE GETS ALL THAT REVUNE FROM TAXES. THEY DONT CARE IF WE DIE FROM LUNG CANCER, HEART DISEASE, ETC THINK OF THE MONEY THE DOCTORS, PHARMACUTICAL AGENCIES, CHEMO, RADATION, ETC LET ALONE POPULATION CONTROL. WHY WOULD ANYBODY ALLOW CIGARETTES TO BE BOUGHT AND SOLD WITH ALL THE BAD INGREDIENTS ONE OF THEM EMBALMING FLUID. IT JUST NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME. ANOTHER PERSON POSTED THAT FDA WILL HAVE THESE STOPPED FOR A LONG TIME AND THEN THE TOBACCO INDUSTRY WILL GET THEIR HANDS ON IT AND MAKE MONEY AND PROBABLY WILL BE SOLD AT SLAVE MART(WALMART) SO DONT LET US HAVE THE E CIG CAUSE THEY WANT TO CHECK IT OUT ON THE POSSIBILITY NOT PROBABILITY THAT THEY COULD BE BAD FOR US. BUT WE KNOW ON THE OTHER HAND CIGARETTES ARE BAD FOR US AND EVERYONE AROUND US THATS WHY THEY BANNED CIGARARETTE SMOKING IN PUBLIC PLACES. THIS COUNTRY WOULD GO HALF BROKE IF EVERYONE QUIT SMOKING (TAXES) AND THEY THE GOVERMENT, FDA, ATF, WHO ALL OF THEM KNOW IT. CAUSE WE ARE SINNERS AND PAYING SIN TAXES BUT THEY SURE ARE BENEFITING OFF OUR SINFUL WAYS ARE THEY NOT? I HOPE I DONT COME OFF SOUNDING RUDE THATS IS NOT MY INTENTIONS JUST VENTING. ONLY IN THE USA TAKE CARE

Venuvious, you mentioned second smoke. Yeah, I always felt bad about that when I smoked. I didn't smoke in the house except for the bedroom just before bed. Yeah, know that bad... Anyways since I got the e-cig, well, my wife has mysteriously stopped coughing, Hum...
