It's all a matter of taste....Like a haircut, you can always do more. But taking some out is a bit trickier. LOL. It's really good mixed with all the tobacco flavors, Coffee, or Chocolate. Fair with Vanilla or Almond. Ugly with Grape or Strawberry. It can be mixed with mint, but that's a bit trickier. PM me, if you want to know how. I don't make exotic mixes because it changes the nic level, and that's a no-no. You should get what you expect... not "more or less".

I bought a 6oz bottle of pure glycerine at CVS Pharmacy for $4.99 (yes, 6 ounces for $4.99) and filled 2 empty 10ml bottles and added a few drops of McCormicks peppermint extract to one and a few drops of rum extract to the other and I am vaping like never before. The pure glycerine gives off much more vapor than the purchased liquids did.
Anybody familar with this method? . . and these savings?

It's true, that it is an easy recipe...but it's the distilled tobacco base flavor, and the nicotine, that are costly.  Also, that type of liquid will gum up atomizers. You'd be better off with Menthol crystals. And you'll be kissing your warranty goodbye. There are ingredients in most liquids, that aid in reducing the residue. If I personally suspect that a person is mixing a liquid that compromises a part, I will ask them to change liquid, and then drop them as a client the second time around. What saves you money, can be very costly to the supplier. It would be the same with any liquid using entity contrary to manufacturer specs. If a car ran cheaper on rubbing alchohol, and you chose to use it, you'd be hard pressed to enforce a warranty when the motor gave out. That's what makes me crazy with all the DIY liquids.

It's absurd to compare an automobile to an e-cig.
Any e-liquid can gum up an atomizer. Simply clean any gummed up atomizer with alcohol.
I bought 2 (.3oz) bottles of e-liquid for $15.00. I made my own e-liquid for next to $ 0. For this savings I don't need any warranty. Saving this amount will buy me new e-cigs. Again, 6 ounces of Pure Glucerine for $4.99.
Moreover, I feel confident and assured that my own e-liquid made with pure food grade glycerine is safe. The taste of pure glycerine and food extract, which dilutes the glycerine, is the best that I've experienced compared to expensive prepared liquids. The peppermint is like smoking a Newport. And the vapor of pure glycerine is more abundant that purchased liquids in my small non-manual e cigs.

Sorry, we don't allow ads, or links. It's true that you can buy straight food grade VG, and smoke it. You can do the same with Food Flavoring. As absurd as you it may seem, to compare  cars to e-cigs, because of the cost, it was just a comparison, on running a product with improper fuel. I have had over $5000.00 of returns in the last 2 years, and I am a small vendor. Some of those are products that are mis-used. Since I talk with other vendors, their #'s are right up there too. So, what to you is a $10.00 problem, is for us , proportionately much greater.. Some of the cheaper atomizers, don't do well being cleaned with alchohol.
As for VG, the jury is still out. Sure, the ad extolls the virtue of it's purity, and all it's benefits. But nowhere did I see anything about it's health giving properties, when smoked. I have however, seen studies from the University of Vienna, published on another forum, by Ludo, the owner of Janty, that suggests that VG, when smoked has some carcinogenic properties. The FDA has done testing on PG for better than 2 years. If they had found solid evidence that this was harmful, they'd have stopped the sale of Vaporizers, when they had it in court. I'm all for big vapor. But many vendors have not changed formulas because of the testing.
There are many analogies I could give on doing things "on the cheap". Many vendors DIY to enhance profits. Sometimes at the expense of their clients. I have Cancer patients that are clients. I'll personally subscribe to products that "tried and true". There is nothing wrong with experimentation, especially if you know the risks involved. But not as a vendor.

To go through life worrying about every possible hazard to your health will not be worth living.
